DJJA News:
We hosted our 1st annually in-house tournament for our Kids.
Almost all our kids showed up for the event (over 45 kids) and
I was very happy to finally meet the parents. It was a huge
success and I would like to personal thank all that helped out
and all that came.
We had over 6 different brackets and we gave out 2 extra awards,
one for most technically grappler and the other for submission
of the night. It was great! Congrats to all!

They have over 10 hours on 5 DVDs. These are a must have for

Saulo had major shoulder surgery on December 1st. His shoulder
has been bothering him for a long time and he really injured
it during his recent superfight and had no choice but to get
it taken care of. We wish him the best and I will keep you updated
on his recovery.
The Association Owners would like to thank Michael Liera for
all his hard work he has put into making our association better.

Huge news: At the RJJA annual Danny Agemy, John Walus and EJ
Ledesma were promoted to BLACK BELT!! Brent Insco and Justin
Wehr were promoted to Brown Belt and Chris Blanke won the RJJA
instructor of the year. All this besides our team doing great!!
I would also like to congratulate Dr. Mike Lee and Aaron Ard
for being promoted to Brown Belts as well. We now have 4 black
belts, 9 brown belts and 16 purple belts in at our local association
schools!!
I am going to order RJJA Midwest Competition hoodies on Thursday,
December 9th. They are $40.00 and can be zipper or pullover
- colors can be black with gold print or gold with black print.

Beginning every Saturday starting January 8th in Toledo, we
will begin our Competition Team Training. It will be from noon
to 1pm and will be a real challenge. The Pan Ams are not that
far away and I expect at least 20 going from the Midwest to
represent!! To win the major tournaments is a year round gig
anymore.
Remember, a Black Belt is a White Belt who never quits!!
